Oh, I'm feeling much better now, thank you!
(Is this the moment to say I always buy Actimel? ;D)

(Is this the moment to say I always buy Actimel? ;D) The moment might have been right, but the place? But hey, you are the webmistress, so I guess it's OK. I don't use Yakult either. I prefer the Griffkult to make me feel better. It usually calms me down, so the health care system won't have to pay for any sedatives on my behalf.

I love this. An entire message board devoted to the man, and we all listen to his advert and go buy something else. Noone tell the ad men....

Haha......we know what we like eh? But TBH,I think if the ad actually featured GRJ in person,it would be more effective. I mean,us fans recognise his voice, but thousands wouldn't xx

Let's face it, he appeals to the independent-minded woman!
Well, it would make me watch more often..... It's such a distinctive voice, though, doesn't everyone recognise it?
(love your ident comment by the way!)

Let's face it, he appeals to the independent-minded woman! Does that mean nobody of us will buy a car from this company? (I posted this link before, but I think this thread is a better place for it.) The other voice in that ad belongs to John Simm, btw. Oh, and thanks for calling us "independent-minded" instead of "stubborn".

Hmm....the page won't display for me...how rude! I heard his dulcet tones during an ad the other night, but can't recall what it was for, other than I think it was something to do with babies? There was a time when my mind automatically locked onto anything faintly connected with babies and their 'stuff',but mine is now an hormonally fuelled Diva with a pneumatic chest and an obsession with the opposite whotsit (yup...she's her mother's daughter allright ;D ) Anyhoos...I shall have to try and catch it again. xx

Ha, I have this joy yet to come......although as my two year old was wandering around inseparable from a picture of Hugh Laurie I think the hormones might be starting early.....why do I think she's going to be her mother's daughter as well? (except for the whole Hugh Laurie thing.....*puzzle*)
I will listen out....

Nope,Hugh Laurie doesn't pull my ripcord either ;D Oh,the joys of a two-year old! Honestly,it does get harder as they get older, tho at this present moment I'm sure you won't believe me. Forget the 'Terrible Twos'....say hi to the 'Frightening Fourteens' xx

Nah, I'm loving it actually. My son's four and starting to show a bit of sense (well, a bit....) and my daughter's a giggle (most of the time.....) so we're having fun. Again, most of the time.....

Yes,it's a lovely time. And I know it's a hackneyed old phrase, but 'Make the most of it' couldn't be more apt. It only seems like yesterday that Rosalind was a toddler. She's a great girl, and we are good friends as well as mum and daughter.....but every day I sense her growing up and away from me.
