I've been asked this several times this morning, so just to let you all know that the Griff on Twitter is merely a Pseudogriff and not the real thing at all.
How very dull!

A 'Pseudogriff' sounds like the sort of thing Harry Potter would have to defeat to reach the Goblet of Fire. It would probably ask a series of cryptic questions about crumbling buildings, and beat itself repeatedly around the head if given the wrong answer...

That could be my first twitter message if I had an account. Other than to prolong this running gag I can't imagine why anyone would fake a celebrity. It's probably my poor imagination. Anyway, great pic, but thanks to Polina we saw that one before. He follows Stephen Fry, but who wouldn't? I use the site, but am only sure of a handful of celebs being thamselves on there! I know of Wossy, Stephen Fry and John Cleese.

According to Times Online the 50 most popular celebs on twitter: www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/tech_and_web/article5641893.eceI don't know most of them, and most of those I know I am surprised that people care. William Shatner... Russell Brand... Boris Johnson... Arnold Schwarzenegger... Popular? - I need a break!

john cleese! stephen fry!! Following celebs tends to be a bit tedious after a while because mostly they are busy answering questions you have to look up to know what they are talking about; but John Cleese and Stephen Fry are the more entertaining kind. Stephen is twittering about a project he is currently on - and for the boring questions he seems to have some people who are answering those. John Cleese is refreshingly rarely tweeting; try to read from the beginning where at first nobody is answering what made him ask something like: "This is the new way to communicate, isn't it?" - Sarcasm thy name is Cleese! ;D shame about griff Being a twitter member doesn't sound like him anyway; at least not with an recognisable account.
