I only found out about Griff's new role as Fagin when I watched him on The Paul O'Grady Show the other night. Fantastic news! And even more fantastic - well, for me anyway - is that I actually predicted this in my astrology blog last November. Here's an excerpt: 'With Leo rising in Griff's Solar Return chart his physical appearance and outer manner will become very important for some reason. He may become more dramatic and expressive next year, and the focus could be on children, sport, or some form of creativity. In fact, for some reason, a child - or children - will be very prominent in his life during the next 12 months......... ..........Griff's personal magnetism will be accentuated during 2009, bringing many exciting offers and invitations. It will be a year of great activity and he will want to start new projects - one in particular which will be made public before his next birthday in 2009.' 'A Venus Pluto conjunction is present in three of Griff's charts for the next 12 months......... This planetary influence will bring immense creativity and he may discover a talent he never knew he had. This may be connected to music.' www.timescape-astrology.blogspot.comSuzy xx

I went to see Oliver last night at the theatre and Griff was absolutely fabulous! He really IS Fagin! His accent and mannerisms were brilliant. (However, it's just as well as he hasn't got much longer to go in that role as he really needs to grow his hair back. Lovely as he is, he just doesn't suit being a slap head). xxx

I couldn't agree with you more!
He is brilliant though, isn't he? I could watch it every night for a month and not get bored by his performance. I shall be thoroughly sad when he is not doing it any more!

Me too Polina! Whoever plays Fagin next has an exceedingly hard act to follow. Oh, let's go and see it again before he leaves the cast!

Dearest Polina! Just wanted to say what a fantastic time I had with you last Friday seeing our Griff as Fagin. He was bloody brilliant!! Please could you be kind enough to pass on my thanks to Griff and Jo for getting us reasonably priced tickets in two of the best seats in the house. Really lovely to meet Griff again after so many years. He's still as lovely as ever. I also had a wonderful time after the show too!! Glad he likes my mod badges. The man has taste!! Please encourage him to keep practising on that mod guitar of his so we can get together and have a jam!!! We could play The Jam too if he likes!!! LOL!!! :-)))))) Hope all is well in Polina Land!! Oh I posted my new song up on my myspace btw (you know the one I was telling you about) www.myspace.com/englishrosecloughy Hope you like it. It's called Shelley's Song and is inspired by a very beautiful bisexual friend of mine who offered me a little more than friendship..... You have to listen to the lyrics to find out whether I did or whether I didn't!! LOL!! (I know that YOU know the outcome but a little intrigue is good!!). Take care Pol! Love ya lots!! LPLxx
