Sad excuse foir a clip show this may be, but if this ever appears again (what am I saying? It's on Sky) it's worth watching, not least for Constable Savage (which gets several showings), bits of Bambi (The Young Ones) and the Flies sketch from S&J, but a rather nice little interview with the man. You can almost overlook the fact that the Mel Smith interview is nicked straight from Comedy Connections. (Actually the Griff one may be as well - I'll have to go watch it again. Tsk.)
If (like me) you are old enough to remember these the first time round the whole programme is a nostalgia trip - if not there are some fine sketches on view. And if (also like me) your appreciation extends from comedic to aesthetic appreciation, he is looking remarkably foxy.

I need to watch the bambi episode of the Young ones again, even though i did a marathon run of it only a couple of weeks ago

I'd forgotten all about that until the programme on University Challenge a year or so back, when they showed a clip from it. I must invest in the dvds!
