Apparently this is starting on Wednesday 8 October at 9pm on ITV - I can't find a link with any more information than this (not even which order they are being shown in), but at least I now have a broadcast date!
I'll pop it up on the main site later....

My favourite TV listing displays this info. Accordig to that New York is first and London second. Thecustard.tv confuses me. They have an update telling the series would start October 1, but they spell Kiefer Sutherland wrong, so...

It's definitely not on 1 October according to the ITV site; they'rve got Pride of Britain awards that night.
Never trust anyone who can't spell Kiefer Sutherland....

And another on the second episode - London. I'll put the Paris one up when the Press Office see fit to put it up!

I thought this was completely gorgeous! I absolutely adored the way it was filmed (also lovely soundtrack - final sound montage was lovely I thought). I thought the whole format was rather lovely - so many beautiful moments I hardly know where to start, but the piano man and the gospel choir did it for me. (And the response of the Broadway babe about getting into character made me laugh for a whole raft of reasons). There is No Way In Hell I would be dangled off the top of that building to clean the windows. Eeeesh. I love the way he just gets stuck in to all these things. I say it endlessly I know, but IMHO he is an utterly natural communicator and I love his new incarnation as a documentary presenter - so much spark and energy, and such a sure touch moving from the comic to the serious and catching the humanity each time. I was caught up in the gospel choir performance, as much from watching it work its magic on him as anything else. It takes a natural touch to react wholeheartedly onscreen without looking a pillock, and he manages to make it work every time. Top job. Seriously, wonderful stuff I thought, in my totally unbiased way. (I wonder if I could build a room where I could close the door and go to sleep for 20 minutes in my house? ) Loved the singing too. (And the oriental lady was right. Very handsome

I only caught bits, it clashed with bed times.
But I saw that window cleaning bit, what a thing to do, I'd love a go, but not to clean windows, just to hang of the side of that building. Strange thing though, not sure how I'd be looking over the edge, going over the edge and looking are really different things.

I love the city. I'm so looking forward to the London one; it's always been my spiritual home and I'm really excited to see how it comes across.
I love the middle of nowhere too though; I'm only REALLY bad at nasty dormitoryvilles like our nearest town......my husband always teases me that within the confines of needing to be near his job, I've managed to dig us in as near as possible to the sticks!
